Drink Local

As you cross the finish line, you will have be handed a mug of our coveted Leatherback Beer. Cheers to a terrific race! But that will be just one taste of all this great brewery has to offer.  Leatherback Brewery will be there in the finishers area providing their refreshing beer to all participants and spectators. But don't worry about long lines, participants can belly up to their own area for more of their amazing brews. Don't wait until race day though, your family and friends can enjoy a great day at the brewery while you kick back with them and try Win's Bush Tea, a local favorite!

Look who is hanging out at Christiansted's Fort. Hey, it's Captain Morgan! Captain Morgan has been a long time supporter of triathlons on St Croix and 2021 will be no exception. An exciting voyage into the world of Captain Morgan awaits you at the Captain Morgan Visitor Center, built as part of Diageo’s Captain Morgan Rum Distillery on St. Croix. "Visit today and have a drink with the Captain."

Kayak Salt River's Bioluminescent Bay

Triathlon weekend just happens to be a time when we will not have a full moon - perfect timing for experiencing nature's amazing bioluminescense. Salt River National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve has several kayak tours at your beck and call for a night that is like none other.  On your kayak through this bay, it will be the stars in the water that amaze you as well as in our dark skies.
